Robert Rooney
One of Australia's most sophisticated artists (Green 1990), Robert Rooney has explored a range of approaches including figurative painting and Conceptualism, but is best known for his vibrant pop and Post-Pop painting that balance abstraction with motifs derived from printed ephemera and commercial illustration.
