Singapore has consistently been rated as one of the world's most competitive economies but it lags behind in global comparisons of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurial activities have been strongly recognized as 'the way' to higher growth and job creation. Being a small country rich in human capital, it is important for Singapore to build an entrepreneurial culture so as to optimize its human capital. The main objective of this project is to study whether higher education helps entrepreneurs to be more successful in their business and to provide a basis for future research on whether the current tertiary education system is conducive for producing entrepreneurs.
