Female entrepreneurship in Australia

Taking into account both early and more recent studies focusing on female entrepreneurs (Bennet and Dann 2000; Buttner 2001; Galloway et al 2002) it remains the case that much is required to be investigated to fully understand the role and process of entrepreneurship from a female point of view. This study seeks to develop a holistic integrated understanding of elite Australian female entrepreneurs and their entrepreneurial activity. It investigates, analyses and describes the nature and construction of elite female entrepreneurship, within the context of the woman’s whole life, from an Australian point of view.
