A study was conducted in the larger Melbourne area to ascertain, as part of the entrepreneurial process, the relationship between human capital of ethnic entrepreneurs and their networking attributes. Contrary to research elsewhere, there was only limited association between human capital and personal networking of ethnic entrepreneurs among the respondents in this research. There was also only limited association between the ethnic entrepreneurs' involvement with the co-ethnic community and their personal networking with the entrepreneurs' utilization of a co-ethnic network. Finally, there was only limited association between ethnic entrepreneurs' human capital and their joining non co-ethnic business networks.
