This paper looks at the challenges facing those business educators involved in preparing students for employment in business, particularly from an eCommerce perspective. The paper proposes and evaluates one approach currently being used by Swinburne University both from an educators, students, and potential employees’ viewpoint. It is argued that whilst most students aim is to pass the subject so they can secure future employment, the educator also has a responsibility to prepare them to be lifelong learners in order to increase their ability to cope and thrive in rapidly changing business environments.
