Belinda Barnet interviews Niles Eldredge, Adjunct Professor of Biology and Geology at the City University of New York. Eldredge has been a palaeontologist for nearly forty years, and his personal specialty is trilobites, a group of extinct arthropods that lived roughly 540-245 million years ago.
