Mobile Internet life in Smart Korea

Korea has been a leader in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) development for many years. Under the national catch phrase, 'IT Korea', the IT industry has driven the Korean economic growth and competitiveness. Now Korea is driving the IT industry into higher levels, towards 'Smart Korea'. This paper describes how Korea is transforming itself from an IT economy to a smart economy by expanding ICT capabilities to every aspect of people's lives. Also discussed are social and market trends and applications and services development driven by mobile Internet capabilities with smart devices, such as smartphones, smart tabs, and smart TVs.
