Rheological properties of blends of recycled HDPE and virgin polyolefins

It is found that there is an empirical relationship that could relate the Melt Flow Index (MFI) of the virgin component to shear viscosity ratio of the blend across a broad spectrum of MFI values for a variety of polyolefin systems.
