Supporting children made homeless by family violence: an update on the Safe from the Start Project

This article is a follow up to one published in Parity in 2010 which explored the negative impacts on children both from experiencing domestic violence and from being made homeless and discussed how front line workers and mothers can help to ameliorate this damage through a Salvation Army Tasmania action research project called Safe from the Start. The purpose of this article is to update readers on the progress of this Tasmanian project for this Tasmanian edition of Parity.
