Who voted green? A review of the Green vote in the 2002 Victorian State election

In the 2002 Victorian State election the Greens achieved a 9.7 per cent vole for their Legis/ative A.ssembly candidates and J0.8 per cent for their Legislative Council candidates. These results far exceeded those of Green candidates in earlier Stale elections, This article examines the factors contributing to this performance and the prospectsfor anyfurther advance in voter support/or Greens candidates.
