MINA is the longest-running film festival in the Southern Hemisphere dedicated to mobile and smartphone filmmaking with a focus on moving-image arts, documentary, community-engaged film productions, experimental films and emerging film production forms and formats, such as MoJo, drone videos, AR, Mobile AI and Mobile Cinematic VR.

With submissions from every continent, Schleser curated an international screening program for the 13th edition of the MINA Smartphone Film Festival. MINA#2024 featured mobile and smartphone films from Argentinian, Australia, Canada, France, Israel, New Zealand/Aotearoa, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom and United States of America. As a festival with the merit to capture the innovations in screen storytelling as much as the contemporary Zeitgeist, Schleser included Mobile AI productions as part of the Innovation category.
