<p dir="ltr">MINA is the longest-running film festival in the Southern Hemisphere dedicated to mobile and smartphone filmmaking with a focus on moving-image arts, documentary, community-engaged film productions, experimental films and emerging film production forms and formats, such as MoJo, drone videos, AR, Mobile AI and Mobile Cinematic VR.</p><p dir="ltr">With submissions from every continent, Schleser curated an international screening program for the 13th edition of the MINA Smartphone Film Festival. MINA#2024 featured mobile and smartphone films from Argentinian, Australia, Canada, France, Israel, New Zealand/Aotearoa, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom and United States of America. As a festival with the merit to capture the innovations in screen storytelling as much as the contemporary Zeitgeist, Schleser included Mobile AI productions as part of the Innovation category.</p>
