Preliminary results on an inverted capacity network simulation

We report the results of several experiments that were performed to evaluate the benefits and draw backs of an inverted capacity network. The results were obtained from a tool created in our lab: Simple Web Inverted System Simulation, SWISS. This tool allows us to simulate a web page request on any kind of network architecture and compute the download time of the requested web page. This tool is based on a module called Dummynet. The download time is computed from an extended wget command.
