This report presents the GREET lifecycle analysis model which was used to undertake a comparative evaluation of electric and hydrogen trucks in the context of Australian conditions. The primary focus of this work is on vehicle lifecycle emissions and does not directly consider the cost of abatement nor does it provide indications as to the costs or feasibility of associated charging and refuelling infrastructure. The report also presents the results from stakeholder consultations undertaken in this research, the policy implications of the study and future research directions.
