Geometrical model to create artificial data of fibre tape layup scans

This geometrical model generates artificial data that mimic surface scans of fibre tape layups. The model adds features such as gaps, overlaps, slits, welding spots, or measurement noise to the grey scale image.

This model has been used to supplement the data in the Benchmark Dataset.
