A mobile serious game named Hungry Cat has been developed in this research for visually impaired children. The game prototype developed was evaluated with 30 visually impaired children from a local boarding school. Two tests, the food finding test and the wire net test were conducted to determine if playing the game will help the participants to gain spatial information through the exploration of virtual rooms. The final results show that the game is indeed able to convey spatial information to visually impaired children and help them to make spatial mental maps of the rooms.
