A novel noise obfuscation model and its strategies for effective and efficient privacy protection in cloud computing

Cloud computing is a novel market-oriented computing paradigm which can save huge capital investments for cloud customers. Due to its outsourcing feature, it is a natural concern for cloud customers about privacy protection to enhance they confidence for cloud computing. In this regard, as a promising cloud privacy protection approach at client side, noise obfuscation can protect customer privacy without service providers. Generally speaking, based on existing noise obfuscations, this thesis proposes a novel noise obfuscation model for cloud privacy protection and a series of novel strategies for effective and efficient noise obfuscation in cloud computing. As a result, the work in this thesis can promote cloud to obtain a more economic and eco-friendly IT industry.
