This interpretivist study contributes to research into alternative ecotourism by examining the organisational culture and effectiveness dynamic at Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms Australia PTD LTD (WWOOF Australia). This organisation is a member of the global WorldWide Opportunities on Organic Farms movement established in England, 1972 underpinned with an ethical philosophy to promote global sustainability, organics and cross cultural education. Drawing on the experiences of the 22 domestic and international members of WWOOF Australia, this single case study develops a model of alternative organisational culture and effectiveness to guide the management and progression of alternative ecotourism in the post COVID 19 era.
