Polygonal billiard channels are mathematical devices that enable the study of diffusion and transport in elementary settings. In this Thesis, relationships between polygon geometry and the statistical properties of non-interacting particle systems are explored. These investigations are partly motivated by the physics of transport in micropourous media, which has applications in a variety of disciplines including engineering and medicine.
