Requirements engineering is the process of elaborating, analysing, and managing software requirements to ensure these requirements are of high quality (such as complete, consistent, correct). However, this goal is sometimes difficult to achieve in practice, causing project time and cost overrun, or even failure. This research is aimed at improving the quality of requirements and thereby, increase the chance of project success. Specifically, we target to provide an automated support for requirements engineers to elaborate and analyse requirements in a user-friendly manner. The proposed techniques allow requirements engineers to semi-automatically extract requirements models from natural languages documents, analyse such models for inconsistency, incompleteness, and incorrectness, and resolve detected problems if any.
