Brief shining moment: the Whitlam era as allegory

Brief Shining Moment is a PhD project submitted in the form of an installed exhibition in a gallery context. The project is accompanied by a two-volume exegesis. The first of these volumes (entitled: Mythos) is a reproduction of the exhibition in book form. It includes all the images and the text information that was presented on didactic panels in the gallery. This second volume (entitled: Logos) places the themes that are visually articulated in the exhibition into a wider conceptual context. It presents an expositional rationale of the processes employed in the exhibition project and a discussion of a pilot study that informed it.
