During my Ph. D. work, I designed and developed various mono/mixed metal sulfides combined with carbon materials for Supercapacitor applications. Also, I developed a customized electrospinning setup to obtain beads-free flexible metal nanofibers. The pyrolyzed nanofibers yielded a unique combination of metal arrangements in the carbon matrix. I had also developed a homemade dynamic supercapacitor testing system to test the supercapacitive characteristics of various nanostructured materials. Apart from electrospinning, I have experience synthesizing nanostructured materials with hydrothermal synthesis and SILAR coating methods for supercapacitor applications.
