Centrifuge modelling and numerical investigation of geotechnical seismic isolation systems for sustainable construction

thesis
posted on 2024-07-26, 01:11 authored by Duc Phu Tran
The study found that the excellent performance of geotechnical seismic isolation systems can significantly reduce structural demand under dynamic loading. The advantages of the geotechnical seismic isolation systems include but not limited to: isolator effects, cost-effective, sustainable development and material resource abundance. The performance of multi-storey building placed on geotechnical seismic isolation system can satisfy the serviceability limit state design in terms of immediate settlement and human comfort.
