This study investigates the impact of stakeholder interaction on the gap between the predicted and actual building energy performance (building energy performance gap). A hybrid dynamic model is developed for building energy performance analysis from the perspectives of stakeholder interaction and building life cycle. This study would be valuable to both researchers and practitioners. It helps researchers better understand interaction mechanism and its impact on the building energy performance gap. Practitioners, especially policy makers, can understand the priority of allocating limited resources to address the issues stemming from the building energy performance gap.
