Coherence of multi-component Bose-Einstein condensates

Bose-Einstein condensates of ultracold atoms are a unique phase of matter promising new exciting applications in quantum sensors and quantum information technology. Dr. Thenuwara developed a new approach to matter wave interferometry with the inclusions of two-, three- and five quantum states involved in the interference process. He found new analytical solutions to the underlying problem which were supported by his experimental observations.
