Corporate social responsibility practices of multinational subsidiaries in Vietnam: The role of corporate social performance and organisational practice transfer
posted on 2024-07-11, 16:40authored byThi Dan Tra Vu
Drawing on an integrated theoretical approach encompassing corporate social performance, organisational practice transfer, institutional theory and resource-based views, this research explores how multinational subsidiaries adapt their corporate social responsibility practices in Vietnam. This research may benefit multinational subsidiary communities in Vietnam and other developing countries, which still struggle to gain legitimacy and competitiveness in their host countries. The research also responds to the gap in literature on corporate social responsibility, corporate social performance and organisational practice transfer and the lack of multi-theory and multi-level analysis of corporate social responsibility of multinational companies in developing countries.
