This research investigates the creep behaviour of geopolymer concrete. Geopolymer concrete is more sustainable and environmental friendly than the traditional Portland cement concrete, since it utilises industry by-products, like slag and fly ash. The creep behaviour is critical to the long-term performance, such as deflection and cracking, of the concrete structures. Through this research, the creep behaviour of geopolymer concrete and its relationship with its microstructure were studied. The findings provide an insight on how geopolymer concrete can be applied in concrete structures, and promote broader usage of this sustainable material, which is a green solution to the society.
