Data Driven HR Practices and Employee Retention: A Case of Pakistan
The advancement of digital technologies and data analytics has reshaped human capital management, encouraging the implementation of Data-Driven Human Resource Practices. Grounded in Institutional Theory, this study examines the impact of Data-Driven Human Resource Practices on Employee Retention, with Employee Digital Literacy as a mediator. Results indicate a significant direct relationship between Data-Driven Human Resource Practices and Employee Retention. However, Leadership Commitment and Digital Technologies did not significantly moderate the relationship of Data-Driven Human Resource Practices and Employee Retention. This research offers valuable insights for HR professionals and policymakers in Pakistan and other developing economies, supporting the development of digitally capable, resilient workforces in a data-driven environment.
