Knowledge-intensive businesses operating in dynamic and complex environments often rely on intrapreneurship and knowledge management in order to strengthen their competitive advantages. Intrapreneurship, a construct that encompasses innovation, strategic renewal and corporate venturing, is important for improving the innovation performance of businesses. An innovation supportive culture is an essential factor in stimulating successful knowledge management and enhancing innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial activities. This study explores how Australian businesses can improve their knowledge transfer performance and stimulate the development of novel ideas, which are currently based on the adoption and adaptation of existing knowledge and technology.
