This research project was developed to address the lack of treatment options available for family members of those who experience Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. The development of the Family Accommodation Support Program was based on interviews with family members who shared their experiences of living with someone experiencing OCD and provided suggestions on what they would find useful in a support program. The program was delivered to groups of family members and found to increase knowledge and confidence about managing OCD and understanding family accommodation and to positively impact on quality of life and stress. Recommendations for future programs were also developed.
