Dual-focused Transformational Leadership and Service Innovation in the Context of Chinese Hospitality Industry

Alongside Chinese social and economic development, Chinese people are now better able to enjoy leisure activities such as dining at restaurants and spending spare time in hotels. Therefore, the Chinese hospitality industry is confronted with the challenge that Chinese customers have an increasing demand for high-quality service. Service innovation contributes to improving service quality and customer satisfaction, contributing to gaining competitive advantages in China's rapidly developing society. This study provides practical insights to Chinese hospitality practitioners that how to adopt dual-focused transformational leadership behaviours to respectively team-level service innovation and individual service innovative behaviour, contributing to business success.
