Project management has been widely applied as a technique for conceptualising, planning, and executing projects worldwide, with mixed success. This study examined the relationship between project management practice and project performance in several projects in the Pakistan construction industry to determine the relationships between these practices, individually and collectively, and their effect on project performance. The study have implications for project managers in the Pakistan construction industry, which could potentially lead to a reduction in project failure and would inform project management methodologies and standards, such as PMBOK, PRINCE 2 and ISO 21500. The research would improve the outcome of the construction projects, thereby, benefiting the society as a whole.
