Due to bidirectional flow of energy and information, modern energy systems generate a vast amount of data. This data indeed provides various benefits, but it also raises a large number of privacy concerns for the participating users. For example, real-time energy usage information of a home can lead to identification of daily routine of the residents. Therefore, in this thesis, I work on overcoming these privacy issues in order to provide smart grid users a safe and secure environment in which they will be able to utilize the benefits of modern smart grid without the risk of losing their privacy.
