This research examines the everyday practices of media fans as information behaviours that are influenced by information communication technologies (ICTs). The study consists of results from 17 in-depth interviews with media fans and content analysis of two online communities of fans of the television series Game of Thrones. Results demonstrate that media fans are involved in a process of sustained engagement, whereby fans encounter and make sense of information as part of the everyday experience of fandom. The study presents an emergent theory for everyday onlife practice, where the mediated experience of ICTs is incorporated in modern daily life.
