Data collection with the target group from rural areas in Sarawak have been challenging and requires extensive resources. The thesis focuses on improving the data collection methods through innovative user engagement, online survey, social media and technological solutions. The aim is to develop a data collection solution that is more efficient, sustainable and can be easily replicated with minimal resources. It also aims to provide a motivation for the target group or participants to take part in the survey which will done at intervals of 3 months.
