Carbon materials with different forms and structures have been extensively studied for electrode applications in electrochemical energy storage devices. The development of new hierarchical carbon nanostructures by combining different carbon nanomaterials to increase the performance of electrode materials is of great importance in developing high performance energy storage devices. In this context, various types of hierarchical carbon structures using carbon nanomaterials including graphene, carbon nanofibers, and carbon nanotubes have been fabricated to serve as electrode application in supercapacitor. The prepared hierarchical carbon materials exhibit promising electrochemical properties for electrode application.
