Factors influencing direct and indirect exporting: The case of Vietnamese private firms

thesis
posted on 2024-07-29, 03:55 authored by Thien Truc Phuong Tran
This thesis provides evidence of the difference between factors affecting direct and indirect exports by private firms, using Vietnam as a case study. Since both direct and indirect exports are of great importance to business development, this thesis makes empirical contributions to the literature by providing insights for firms to increase their participation and their revenue in different export modes and for policymakers to introduce relevant measures to support firms to become exporters in middle-income countries such as Vietnam.
