Usage of chemical fertilizers is a common practice in the agricultural field and has increased rapidly throughout the years. This consequently resulted in environmental pollution. As such, biofertilizers containing plant growth promoting microbes (PGPR) are introduced. In this study, the effectiveness of the microorganisms in the biofertilizer formulation was tested by conducting pot trial and field trial. Studies showed that the combination of biofertilizer and 50% chemical fertilizer could enhance the growth of Eucalyptus pellita as effective as the 100% chemical fertilizer.
