First-principles quantum simulations of nonclassical systems

Various nonclassical systems, that is, systems which exhibit strong quantum behaviour, are analysed particularly by means of computer simulations. Special emphasis is placed on the prospect of observing nonlocal effects such as entanglement. Furthermore, a novel method for the integration of stochastic differential equations is presented and its performance is analysed.
