High-quality graphene electrodes are crucial to supercapacitors for efficient energy storage yet remain challenging via simple and scalable processes. This thesis demonstrates a simple, facile, low-cost, and environmentally-friendly flash reduction method to realize the fabrication of high-performance graphene-based electrodes. In-depth numerical simulations are conducted in this thesis to provide theoretical guidelines for the optimization of the flash production of graphene-based electrodes. High-quality flash reduced graphene oxide-based electrodes are fabricated in experimental studies, exhibiting high energy densities in supercapacitors. This study opens a new horizon for the effective production of graphene-based electrodes, which can see immediate applications in broad application fields.
