This research utilizes a fully coupled numerical FSI scheme to understand the effect of a mechanical heart valve on a thoracic aortic aneurysm, whilst investigating the key hemodynamical and structural parameters affecting the blood flow of a healthy human aorta. This is achieved by discussing the cardiovascular components - their function in the human body, types of diseases, and existing treatment options. The achievement of this study can be highlighted as decision making on MHV heart valve replacement, which is capable of minimizing the hemo- dynamical forces acting on aorta aneurysm, while considering all the physiological and anatomical conditions.
