The Internet of Things (IoT) is widely considered as the next generation of the Internet, and the next magic bullet to stimulate our economy. However, the current IoT are heavily built relying on the cloud, leading to severe issues such as latency, security, traffic congestion, high cost, to name a few. A new network concept called fog computing (fog is closer to the ground than cloud) recently raised from the industry, which was proposed to tackle the concerns mentioned above. To this end, we developed the fog computing network to enable the realization of fog for the IoT systematically.
