This work aims at developing composite electrospun nanofiber membranes with multifunction performance (combination of filtration properties and catalytic activity). The main advantage of the fabricated nanofiber composite membranes is its multi-functionality for air purification and degradation. The production of such electrospun nanofiber membrane would overcome several challenges related to the chemistry, structure, homogeneity and diameter distribution of the nanofibers. The materials developed in this work offer practical application of fine separation applications and opportunities for the development of reusable membranes and application with complex biological microorganisms and pathogens filtration.
