Management of construction and demolition waste is a common issue across all Australian jurisdictions. This research investigated the feasibility of using construction and demolition waste as an alternative filler material in stone column applications. An innovative semi-rigid inclusion column system is introduced, which enhances the adaptability and performance of ground inclusion column techniques in various soil environments by stabilising construction and demolition waste with green binders. This approach provides a new pathway for repurposing construction and demolition waste from landfills into valuable construction materials, contributing to the circular economy.
