This thesis explores how Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy can support adults who find it difficult to form close, secure relationships. By drawing on both IFS and attachment theory, the research offers insights and therapeutic interventions into building healthier connections and improving overall mental health. The findings suggest that IFS Therapy may be a useful approach for therapists working with relationship difficulties, as well as contributing to a deeper understanding of attachment in adult mental health.
