Impact of Bengoh Dam Construction to Erosion and Sedimentation along Sg. Sarawak Kiri using InfoWorks RS

This research was conducted to study the impact of Bengoh Dam construction on Sarawak Kiri river erosion and sedimentation. The research utilised InfoWorks RS to create the Sarawak Kiri river model and to perform sedimentation and erosion modelling along the Sarawak Kiri river. Two river models were created by using InfoWorks RS, one which includes Bengoh Dam and the other, without Bengoh Dam. Both models have the same data and river cross-section. The research conducted could be used to predict the areas affected by the dam construction and a mitigation process could be planned to solve them.
