I have demonstrated complex light generation using Diffractive Optical Elements and also using the recently emerging Metasurfaces. We have improved the generation efficiency by adopting the all-dielectric multi-phase level metasurfaces that offer very high spatial phase resolution. We have experimentally demonstrated the complex light generation across visible, infrared and terahertz spectral regions. I have also developed two software called GDoeSII and MetaOptics to create GDSII layouts of DOEs and metasurfaces respectively. Both this software are published in reputed journals and received critical appreciation from the community.
