A thesis exploring social network connections amongst structured giving vehicles in Australia which support arts and culture organisations. The thesis is a mixed methods piece of research which involved semi-structured interviews with founders, trustees and directors of foundations to uncover the key common characteristics of institutional funders of the arts, and their perceptions about their levels of influence on the arts organisations they support. Archival research enabled networks amongst funders to be mapped.
