Current nonlinear microscopy techniques, which are one of the best diagnostic bio-imaging tools are bench-top systems and inflexible for everyday clinical use at patient bedside. This research investigate the use of different types of structured fibres for implementing these microscopy techniques into a flexible, less invasive hair-size single fibre based compact endomicroscopy system with increased resolution and capability for simultaneous multichannel imaging. Special fibre that helps to make the total system size compact and imaging process more efficient is designed. Simultaneous multichannel imaging of different fluorescent dyes and ways to implement one of the current states of art super resolution technique is achieved.
