Kinematics of star formation in evolving galaxies

This work studies star formation within galaxies in the early stages of evolution, and the motion of the gas from which those stars form. It finds that star formation and the turbulence of the gas are closely linked. Through this work, we have gained a better understanding of the formation and development of galaxies such as the one in which we live.
