This study looks at the literature in interaction design incorporating virtual reality and explores the existing design principles and techniques available for incorporating virtual reality. The purpose of this project is to design a set of interactive games to familiarise and train people using `magic' interaction in virtual reality. `Magic' interactions comprise non-natural or hyper-natural interactions to enhance users' engagement in the virtual environment. This thesis contributes knowledge to interaction design in VR by exploring how 3D interaction techniques in VR can be learned in an effective way.
